Athlete of the week achievement: Black scored the only goal in Altoona's 1-0 victory over Hollidaysburg and also scored twice in a 4-1 win over Indiana earlier in the week.

Season update: Black has scored a team-high 15 goals and has four assists for the 12-5 Mountain Lions.

Coach Dave McCarter's quote: "He's a special player and a great leader on and off the field. He has a ton of character and sets the standard of what a player should be. He's a Division I recruit, and it's through a lot of talent and hard work. He's really coachable, and he's honestly a top two or three player to ever come through the program, if not the best player I have ever coached."
