Athlete of the week achievement: Hoenstine completed 21 of 28 passes for 350 yards and seven touchdown passes in Central's 55-21 victory over McCort-Carroll. He also carried the ball eight times for 72 yards.

Season update: Hoenstine is 108-for-169 for 1,502 yards with 23 touchdown passes and one interception for a 4-2 Central team.

Coach Dave Baker's quote: "As usual he was excellent. He had more touchdown passes than usual, but a couple of times he had real good runs down the field when he didn't have a receiver open. So, in addition to passing, he had a real good game rushing."
