Athlete of the Week: Lechleitner gives golden effort

Name: Adam Lechleitner

School: Central Cambria

Sport: Track and field

Athlete of the week achievement: Lechleitner ran the third leg of Central Cambria's state championship-winning 3200-meter relay team that finished in 7:59.7 at the PIAA Class 2A championships. Lechleitner also earned a fourth-place medal in the pole vault by clearing 13 feet.

Season update: Lechleitner capped his high school career with two state medals.
