Athlete of the week achievement: Lewis fired a one-hitter with six strikeouts in a 2-0 victory over Claysburg-Kimmel in the District 6 Class 2A quarterfinals and also went 2-for-3 with an RBI. He went 2-for-3 with two runs in a 9-2 victory over Bellwood-Antis in the semis.
Season update: Lewis is 5-1 pitching with a 1.05 ERA and two saves while hitting .438 (21-for-48) with nine RBIs for the 13-5 Marauders, who play West Shamokin tonight in the district final.
