HOLLIDAYSBURG — Hollidaysburg took two matches from Bedford, both by scores of 5-0, in high school boys tennis on Tuesday.

In the opener, the Golden Tigers (13-0) got singles wins from Garrett Bouchard, Felix Xu and Michael Waibel. Doubles victories were earned by the teams of Aamir Azad and Cooper McAller, along with Nolan Lloyd and Colin Gardner.

In the second match, winners included Waibel, Alex Arbogast and Jacob Sidney in singles play, while the doubles teams of Bouchard and Xu, along with Evan Davies and McAleer got wins.

Altoona defeated

MECHANICSBURG — The Altoona Area High School boys volleyball team fell to 1-6 Tuesday night, thanks to a 25-8, 25-6, 25-15 loss at undefeated Cumberland Valley.

The Lions were led by Max Coon with seven assists, Colson Greenleaf with nine digs, eight digs from Parker Huey-Kish and five kills from Logan Coldwell.
