Central volleyball team prevails over Forest Hills
SIDMAN — Christian Heuston had 10 kills to lead Central to a 25-18, 25-14, 25-14 win over Forest Hills in high school boys volleyball on Wednesday.
Heuston and Lincoln Mauk each had four blocks, and Blake Reynolds had eight kills and four aces. Dylan Hoover had a team-high 11 service points, and Landyn Rhodes dished out 28 assists.

BG falls
HOLLIDAYSBURG — DuBois topped Bishop Guilfoyle Academy, 25-21, 25-16, 23-25, 25-15, in high school boys volleyball despite 29 assists and nine digs from the Marauders’ Brenden Young at Hollidaysburg Area High School.
Karter Shall added 14 kills and 14 digs, and Griffin Chwateck also had 14 kills.

Tigers sweep
Felix Xu won at No. 2 singles in the first match and No. 1 singles in the second match to help Hollidaysburg sweep Bishop McCort, 5-0, 5-0, in high school boys tennis action held at the Summit Tennis & Athletic Club on Wednesday.
Garrett Bouchard and Aamir Azad also won singles matches in the first match, and Colin Gardner and William Zhu won matches in the second contest.
Gardner teamed with Cooper McAleer to win at No. 1 doubles in the first match, and Evan Davies and Ben Dick won at No. 2.
In the second match, McAleer teamed with Azad to win No. 1 doubles, and Stanley Zheng and Keegan Henry won at No. 2 doubles for the Golden Tigers, now 11-0.
