FRIDAY

CD East (2-1) at Altoona (3-0), 7

Notable: Lions trying to win fourth game in a season for just the fourth time in the last decade. They’ve won more than four once.

Bellefonte (1-2) at Hollidaysburg (1-2), 7

Notable: Neither Bellefonte or Hollidaysburg has a rusher that has more than 92 yards through the first three games combined.

Central Cambria (1-2) at Central (3-0), 7

Notable: Teams have not met since a 42-6 District 6 playoff victory by Scarlet Dragons in 2013.

Chestnut Ridge (1-2) at Bishop McCort (1-2), 7

Notable: Matt Whysong and Trevor Weyandt both have at least 15 catches and more than 225 yards receiving for Lions this year.

Penn Cambria (3-0) at Somerset (0-2), 7

Notable: Teams have split the last four meetings between each other after Eagles won five in a row from 2013-2017.

Richland (3-0) at Bedford (3-0), 7

Notable: Bedford’s 27-20 win last season snapped three-game losing streak in the series. Bedford won three straight from ’14-’16.

Bald Eagle Area (2-1) at Huntingdon (0-3), 7

Notable: Bearcats have managed just 21 points through three games. BEA has scored 70 points through its first three.

Clearfield (3-0) at Tyrone (1-2), 7

Notable: Tyrone’s John Franco and Clearfield’s Tim Janocko have 71 combined years experience as head coaches.

Philipsburg-Osceola (1-2) at Penns Valley (1-2), 7

Notable: Senior Matt Martin has 27 carries for 157 yards and 10 catches for 139 yards to lead the Mounties in both categories.

Claysburg-Kimmel (1-2) at Tussey Mountain (1-1), 7

Notable: Titans have rushed for 302 yards through two games. Last week’s game at Mount Union was canceled due to COVID.

Glendale (2-1) at Curwensville (2-1), 7

Notable: Golden Tide quarterback Dan McGarry has passed for 734 yards and five touchdowns through the first three games.

Windber (3-0) at Northern Bedford (1-2), 7

Notable: Panthers finishing three-game stretch vs. Heritage, ICC and WestPAC favorites according to Mirror’s Blitz magazine.

West Branch (1-2) at Moshannon Valley (1-2), 7

Notable: Levi Knuth rushed for 209 yards last game in Knights’ win over C-K. He had just 73 yards in the previous two games.

North Star (1-2) at Portage (3-0), 7

Notable: Cougars quarterback Connor Yoder leads his team with 308 rushing yards in three games and has passed for 165 more.

Cambria Heights (3-0) at United (0-3), 7

Notable: Highlanders were picked to win the Heritage Conference by coaches in this year’s Blitz magazine. United was picked last.

Bellwood-Antis (3-0) at Southern Huntingdon (1-2), 7

Notable: Game added to the schedule on Wednesday when Mount Union canceled game vs. Rockets and Everett canceled vs. B-A.

SATURDAY

Forest Hills (1-2) at Bishop Guilfoyle (1-2), 7

Notable: Forest Hills defeated BG by forfeit last season after the Marauders won 48-0 on the field but reported an ineligible player.

Northern Cambria (0-3) at Conemaugh Valley (0-2), 1

Notable: Colts have been very unbalanced offensively this season, rushing for 402 yards and passing for just 44 yards.
