Tussey coach steps down for MU job
From Mirror reports
Anthony Sottasante has resigned as the Tussey Mountain head football coach and was named to the same position at Mount Union Monday night at a special meeting.
Sottasante led the Titans to a District 5 Class 1A championship in 2019 after turning around a program that had gone 2-28 over the previous three years before his arrival. His record at Tussey Mountain during his three seasons was 26-6.
“With the resources and the commitment from the school, I felt like I had taken the program as far as I can,” Sottasante said regarding leaving Tussey Mountain. “I just had an opportunity to move on to another school, and they are very committed to football and have more resources and things like that.”
