JOHNSTOWN — Thursday night’s District 6 Class 3A boys basketball quarterfinal contest between visiting Tyrone and Westmont Hilltop was a gritty, physical contest in which both teams’ defenses made their presence felt. BERLIN — The Northern Bedford boys basketball team was eliminated from the District 5 Class 2A playoffs Wednesday night, thanks to a 52-42 loss at Berlin Brothersvalley in high school action.
