Portage girls improve perfect record to 5-0

NEWVILLE — The Portage girls basketball team captured the JT Kuhn Memorial Tournament title on Saturday, defeating host Big Spring, 60-43, in high school action. The Lady Mustangs, who improved to 5-0, outscored Big Spring 25-7 in the second quarter after trailing, 9-7, after one quarter.
