Athlete of the week achievement: Gerwert had 14 points and 14 rebounds in a 58-54 win over Central Mountain, 19 points and seven rebounds in a win over Bald Eagle Area and 33 points in a win over Bellefonte. She also surpassed the 1,000-point career mark.
Season update: Gerwert is averaging 19.6 points and 8.8 rebounds for Bellwood.
