Penn State hosted three high school senior football prospects over the weekend, but the one recruiting analysts would tell you was the most important of the trio was Ellis Brooks. With signing day on Wednesday, the Penn State football team is using this weekend to try to put the final touches on a 2017 recruiting class that currently includes 18 members while also continuing to build on a 2018 class that has gotten off to a great start. Penn State has had almost a dozen of the class of 2017 football recruits verbally committed to it this weekend with the idea of solidifying the group and bringing them closer together.
