UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State men’s volleyball head coach Mark Pavlik, the fourth-winningest coach in the history of collegiate men’s volleyball, has announced that the 2026 season will be the final season of his career. Penn State Altoona senior forward Avana Sayles was chosen as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Player of the Week in women’s basketball. In the Lions’ 69-49 victory over non-conference opponent Lycoming last week, Sayles notched her third double-double of the season, getting 16 points and 10 rebounds. WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Penn State wrestling team dominated at the Black Knight Invitational on Sunday as coach Cael Sanderson’s squad notched nine individual champions and had six runners-up in the event.
