Pickett’s big game lifts PSU to victory

UNIVERSITY PARK — Jalen Pickett finished an assist shy of a triple-double and Penn State defeated Quinnipiac, 77-68, on Thursday at the Bryce Jordan Center. Moving the game time up by four hours because of weather didn’t affect Pickett, who is the only player in the country averaging 16 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. NEW ORLEANS — Penn State took down No. 5 Iowa State, 22-12, in the Blue Pool final at the 2022 Collegiate Duals on Tuesday night. Penn State (7-0 overall) closed out the two-day event in New Orleans’ Morial Convention Center with a 3-0 record.
