Penn State wrestling capsule
Iowa at Penn State
Start: 7 p.m., Bryce Jordan Center, University Park, Pa.
Records: Iowa (9-0, 3-0 Big Ten); Penn State (9-0, 3-0 Big Ten)
TV: Big Ten Network
Radio: WRAX FM-106.5
Notable: This will be the second of three dual meets in the Bryce Jordan Center this season. The Wyoming dual meet was there earlier this season, while next Friday with Michigan will also be in the BJC. … Iowa’s Gabe Arnold and PSU’s Carter Starocci have had words throughout the week. Arnold said last weekend that the Hawkeyes would get the job done at Penn State and Starocci’s “head is mine.” Starocci claimed he did not know Arnold was the starter at 184 pounds. … There will be a lot of new faces in the PSU-Iowa dual meet in PSU freshmen Luke Lilledahl and Josh Barr, while Iowa has a mix of freshmen and transfers in Jacori Teemer (Arizona State), Stephen Buchanan (Oklahoma/Wyoming), Kyle Parco (Arizona State/Fresno State), and Joey Cruz (Oklahoma). … Since DuBois’ Kolby Franklin had to medically retire from wrestling, this is the first Iowa team since the 2009-10 season with no members from the state of Pennsylvania.
Mirror prediction: Penn State, 25-9
Mirror prediction record: 9-0
