SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Luke Sutherland scored 18 points as Le Moyne beat the Saint Francis men's basketball team, 94-57, on Sunday.
Sutherland shot 6 for 10, including 4 for 7 from beyond the arc for the Dolphins (8-11, 3-2 Northeast Conference). Kaiyem Cleary was 5 of 9 shooting, including 3 for 5 from 3-point range, to add 15 points. Isaiah Salter shot 6 for 6, including 3 for 3 from beyond the arc to finish with 15 points.
The Red Flash (6-13, 1-5) were led by Eli Wilborn, who posted 13 points. Carlos Lopez Jr. added 11 points.

Penn State loses at Ohio State
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Evan Mahaffey, a sophomore transfer from Penn State, and Roddy Gayle Jr. each scored 16 points to help Ohio State beat the Nittany Lions 79-67 on Saturday afternoon.
The win gave Chris Holtmann his 250th career victory and his 136th win in seven seasons as head coach of the Buckeyes.
Penn State came into the game after knocking off No. 11 Wisconsin and looked to sweep the season series after erasing an 18-point second half deficit to eke out an 83-80 win at University Park. Ohio State came into the game on a three-game losing streak, but dispelled any lasting effects right from the tip.
The Buckeyes opened the game with a 16-0 run over the first 6:30, with Gayle scoring six of the first eight points and Mahaffey the next six. The Nittany Lions got within 10 points on Nick Kern Jr.'s layup with 2:08 left in the first half to make it 29-19, but Jamison Battle and Gayle each answered with a jumper and Ohio State went into intermission up 33-19.
Ohio State built the lead to as much as 23 points after Mahaffey's layup with 6:51 left made it 68-45. But Penn State clawed back. Puff Johnson hit from deep and followed a Qudus Wahab dunk with a layup to make it 68-52. The Nittany Lions hit three more 3-pointers in the next few minutes and got within single digits for the first time since the four-minute mark of the first half, but they would get to within no closer than nine points the rest of the way.
Clary and Johnson each hit 3 of 4 from behind the arc and each finished with 13 points. Kern had 12 points and Ace Baldwin Jr. added 10. Penn State shot 26 of 70 (37.1%) from the floor, including 11 of 24 from distance.
Penn State returns home to play host to Minnesota Saturday.

PSU Altoona men fall to Hilbert
HAMBURG, N.Y. -- The Penn State Altoona men's basketball team suffered an 81-71 loss to AMCC opponent Hilbert College on Saturday in the Hafner Recreation Center.
Penn State Altoona (6-11, 5-5 AMCC) fell behind 41-33 by halftime, and Hilbert (9-7, 5-4 AMCC) limited the Lions to a 39.1 percent field goal percentage as a team.
Dwayne Jones recorded his sixth double-double of the season for the Lions with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Mason Bush added 17 points.
Lady Lions knock off Nebraska
UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State's defense applied relentless pressure, forcing 18 turnovers while holding Nebraska to 37% shooting from the field as the Lady Lions picked up an82-73 victory over the Cornhuskers inside the Bryce Jordan Center Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Lions improved to 13-5 overall and 4-3 in Big Ten play. The Cornhuskers fell to 13-6 overall and 5-3 in the Big Ten.
Graduate guard Ashley Owusu scored a season-high 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting, and sophomore guard Shay Ciezki finished with 17 points.
Redshirt junior guard Leilani Kapinus had 13 points with a season-high five assists, graduate forward Chanaya Pinto finished with eight points and seven rebounds, senior forward Ali Brigham finished with seven points and five boards.
Bellwood-Antis graduate Alli Campbell scored five points for Penn State.

Flash pick up third victory
LORETTO -- The Saint Francis women earned their third win of the season by slipping past Le Moyne, 55-52, on Sunday at the Stokes Center.
Destini Ward scored 18 points to lead the Flash, and Kendall Carruthers scored 15. Julianna Gibson grabbed 10 rebounds to help the Flash win the battle of the boards, 42-27.

HAMBURG, N.Y. -- The Penn State Altoona women's basketball team put a halt to its five-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon, when the Lions pulled out a 79-74 overtime win against AMCC opponent Hilbert College in the Hafner Recreation Center.
Jordan Bisignani scored a team-high 20 points for Penn State Altoona (9-8, 6-4 AMCC) while dishing out five assists. Jess Burns added 15 points, Jaidyn McCracken (Bellwood-Antis) scored 14 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds, and Chelsea McCaulsky (Bellwood-Antis) came off the bench to finish with eight points and six boards.
