Penn State’s Nicholas Singleton suffers broken foot
Penn State running back Nicholas Singleton broke his foot during Thursday’s Senior Bowl practice, reported Rich Scarcella of the Reading Eagle.
Singleton will undergo surgery early next week in Birmingham, Ala. He plans on attending the NFL Combine from Feb. 23 to Mar. 2, but he will not be able to participate in drills.
Singleton was projected as one of the top five running backs available in this year’s NFL Draft. For the season, Singleton had 549 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns to go with 219 receiving yards with a TD catch.
