TV schedule released for PSU women hoops

UNIVERSITY PARK -- The Penn State women's basketball team found out on Tuesday it will have six nationally televised games on the Big Ten Network this season.

Penn State, under new head coach Tanisha Wright, will play two games at home and four on the road starting in December.

The first game will be at Michigan State on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 4 p.m. Following that will be a New Year's Day game on Friday, Jan. 1, at home with Oregon, also at 4 p.m. The Lady Lions will play at USC on Monday, Jan. 18, at 4 p.m. and at Northwestern on Thursday, Feb. 4, at 8 p.m.

The final TV games will be Thursday, Feb. 18, at home with Iowa at 6 p.m., and on Thursday, Feb. 25, at Illinois. Tipoff is at 8:30 p.m.

Other Penn State games at home will be available to stream on Big Ten Plus.

Champs crowned

HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Tyler Jarratt and David Snyder won the Scotch Valley Country Club's Fall Two-Ball championship flight.

Walt Rose and Denny Pennabaker were second, and Ryan Good and Joel Reighard placed third.

Summit winner

CRESSON -- The team of Quintin Dziabo, Joey Dziabo and Ed Dongell carded a 60 to win the Summit Country Club's Fall Three-Man Scramble.

Aloysius Lee, Sam Stewart and Mason McCarthy finished second with a 63.
