UNIVERSITY PARK -- The Big Ten Network announced the television designations for Penn State wrestling's 2026-27 campaign on Wednesday with the Nittany Lions
The Nittany Lions led the Big Ten Conference in national television selections with their seven pickups, leading Iowa and Michigan's six designations. All 14 Big Ten member institutions will be featured on national television at least once in the 2026-27 season. PSU will compete on the air in three home dual meets, with all three of those matches housed inside the Jordan Center. Penn State's four remaining national television matches will come in conference matches on the road. BTN coverage will also include live coverage of the 2027 Big Ten Championships from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, the first neutral site championship in conference history.
Penn State kicks off the broadcast year for BTN with the Nittany Lions welcoming the West Virginia Mountaineers into the BJC for a noon start on Sunday, Dec. 13. The contest will serve as BTN's only broadcast of the fall semester, and one of three televised non-conference dual meets overall. The Nittany Lions will next appear on the BTN at Rutgers on Saturday, Jan. 9. The opening bout is slated for 4 p.m.
The Nittany Lions are at the BJC on Friday, Jan. 15, against Michigan at 7 p.m. PSU returns to the airwaves at Michigan State on Friday, Jan. 22, beginning at 6 p.m., and follows that up with another nationally televised road dual at Minnesota on Friday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m.
One of the marquee dual meets on the schedule comes on Friday, Feb. 5, when PSU welcomes Iowa to the BJC for an 8 p.m. start. Penn State's final dual meet is on Friday, Feb. 12, as the Nittany Lions travel to Ohio State for a 6 p.m. start.
