Player to watch: Ikenna Ezeogu (No. 1)
Class: Senior
Height/weight: 6-foot-5, 273 pounds
Career to this point: Played in 38 games at Iowa State and began emerging in 2025 with 25 stops.

FYI: Can play multiple spots on the defensive line -- a position that is emphasizing size and may be the team's biggest question mark.
Others in the mix: DE Yvon Kemajou (No. 99) is rangy and made five TFLs as a true freshman. Fellow Lion holder Max Granville (No. 18) sat out 2025 with an injury but has a high upside. His father, Billy, played five NFL seasons.
