Penn State senior quarterback Drew Allar, senior running back Kaytron Allen and senior running back Nicholas Singleton were tabbed to the Maxwell Award Watch List on Monday.
The Maxwell Award has been presented to the College Player of the Year since 1937 and is named in honor of Robert “Tiny” Maxwell, who was a former standout at the Swarthmore College and a renowned sportswriter and football official.
Pitt quarterback Eli Holstein and running back Desmond Reid were also among the 80 players nationwide named to the list.
