Notable: For the second time this season, Penn State’s Beau Bartlett was named the Big Ten Wrestler of the Week. Bartlett beat Ohio State’s top-ranked Jesse Mendez in the dual meet with the Buckeyes last week. … The dual meet with American, out of Washington D.C., will be the last dual meet for the Nittany Lions. Their next action will be at the Big Ten Championships at Northwestern on March 8-9. … It will be Senior Night for Penn State, and also the last time fans will see Bartlett, Carter Starocci, and Greg Kerkvliet compete at Rec Hall. … The Eagles’ starting 125-pounder is Bald Eagle Area graduate Coen Bainey, who was a three-time PIAA placewinner. Bainey is 10-9 on the season with a pin, two technical falls, and two major decisions. … Also from Pennsylvania for American are Punxsutawney’s Dysen Gould, Grove City’s Hunter Hohman, Bethlehem Catholic’s Cael McIntyre, Warrior Run’s Kaden Milheim, Mifflinburg’s Emmanuel Ulrich, and Seneca Valley’s Liam Volk-Klos.
