NEW YORK — Penn State tight end Tyler Warren has finished seventh in the Heisman Trophy voting.
The fifth through 10th spots in the 2024 balloting were released Friday night on The Top 10 Heisman Trophy Finalists Show Presented by Nissan, which aired live on ESPN.
The six standouts that complete the 2024 Heisman Trophy Top 10 complement the top four finishers who were announced Monday.
The top four, listed alphabetically, are Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty and Miami quarterback Cam Ward.
They are in New York and will be part of the ceremony tonight.
The remainder of the top 10 are fifth-place senior Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo, sixth-place senior Army quarterback Bryson Daily, Warren, eighth-place senior Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, ninth-place senior Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke, and 10th-place Syracuse senior quarterback Kyle McCord.
Colorado's Hunter and Sanders mark the sixth time in the last seven years that at least two players from the same team have finished in the Heisman Top 10 balloting. It is the first time the Buffaloes have had two top-10 finishers.
Daily is the first player from Army to finish in the Heisman top 10 since 10th-place running back Mike Mayweather. He is Army's highest finisher since 1958 winner Pete Dawkins.
Warren is Penn State's highest finisher since running back Saquon Barkley finished fourth in 2017.
The Virginia product caught 88 passes for 1062 yards, both Penn State and Big Ten records for a tight end. His 22 career touchdowns — 16 receiving and six rushing — is also a record for a Penn State tight end.
