PSU tight end makes list
UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State senior tight end Tyler Warren was named a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy by the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame on Wednesday.
The Trophy, in its 35th year and tabbed as the "academic Heisman," is college football's premier scholar-athlete award that annually recognizes an individual as the absolute best in the nation for his combined academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership.
The Nittany Lions host Illinois this Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
