PSU adds DE from Texas

The Penn State football program announced the addition of defensive end Max Granville to its 2024 signing class on Thursday.

He will join the team for fall camp immediately.

That brings the total to 26 signees for the upcoming season, 12 on offense and 14 on defense.

Granville is a 6-foot-3, 225-pound defensive end out of Fort Bend Christian Academy where he was a three-year lettermen who helped lead his teams to a district and state championship his junior and senior years.

In his senior season, he finished with 12 sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries to go with five pass breakups. He was rated a four-star prospect.

Granville chose Penn State over Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Baylor and USC.
