UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State women's basketball head coach Carolyn Kieger announced Tuesday that Adrienne Motley was promoted to assistant coach.
Motley served as the director of player development for the Lady Lions in the 2023-24 campaign.
Motley is a graduate of the University of Miami, where she played under then assistant coach Kieger. She was a starter for the Hurricanes for four seasons and compiled 1,844 points in 129 games while earning a slew of accolades throughout the years.
Motley earned four consecutive All-ACC honors including two selections to the first team. She was an honorable mention All-American.
Two Lions honored
GREENWOOD, Ind. --Penn State Altoona baseball junior second baseman Alex Hlivia and sophomore first baseman Jonathan Rauch were recognized for their academics on Tuesday, when both student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators' NCAA Division III Academic All-District team.
