In a move that was not a surprise after Friday's news that he had been away from the team all week, Penn State wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith announced on Monday he was entering the transfer portal.
Lambert-Smith was a huge part of the passing game early in the season, but was largely phased out in the last few games after offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich was fired after the Michigan game. For the 2023 season, Lambert-Smith had 53 catches for 673 yards and four TDs.
Lambert-Smith was nowhere to be found at Saturday's Blue-White Game, and coach James Franklin declined to comment on the situation in his postgame press conference.
