UNIVERSITY PARK -- The upcoming Penn State men's basketball non-conference and Big Ten schedule was recently released and it starts in early November.
The Nittany Lions will have 17 home games.
It begins on Monday, Nov. 6, at the Jordan Center where Penn State hosts Delaware State.
The Nittany Lions then host back-to-back games against Lehigh (Friday, Nov. 10) and St. Francis, Pa. (Tuesday, Nov. 14) before welcoming Morehead State on Friday, Nov. 17.
Penn State is at the ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando, Fla. from Nov. 23-26. The Nittany Lions open against Texas A&M on Thanksgiving on ESPN. The Nittany Lions will then play either Butler or Florida Atlantic in the next round.
Penn State then faces a team on the other side of the bracket, either Boise State, Iowa State, VCU or Virginia Tech on Sunday, Nov. 26.
The Nittany Lions return home to host Bucknell on Saturday, Dec. 2. Following a pair of early-season Big Ten games, Penn State will host Le Moyne out of the Northeast Conference on Thursday, Dec. 21 and Rider on Friday, Dec. 29.
Big Ten play begins with a pair of early-December contests, at Maryland on Wednesday, Dec. 6, before hosting Ohio State on Saturday, Dec. 9.
The Nittany Lions return to Big Ten play on Thursday, Jan. 4 with a trip to Michigan State.
Penn State's trip to the Palestra this year is Sunday, Jan. 7, against Michigan.
The Nittany Lions welcome Northwestern on Jan. 10, then travel to Purdue on Jan. 13. Penn State will also host Wisconsin (Jan. 16) and Minnesota (Jan. 27), with additional road trips set for Ohio State (Jan. 20) and Rutgers (Jan. 31).
Penn State will play February games with Indiana (twice), Iowa (twice), Michigan State, Illinois, Northwestern, Nebraska and finish out with Minnesota and Maryland at the beginning of March.
