Steelers decline options on Harris, Fields

From Mirror reports The Pittsburgh Steelers officially declined the fifth-year option for quarterback Justin Fields ahead of Thursday’s deadline, according to several media reports. He, along with 2021 first-round pick running back Najee Harris, will hit free agency in 2025, unless an extension, trade or unexpected use of the franchise tag comes to fruition. Steelers get their center

PITTSBURGH — Arthur Smith walked in and sat down, a microphone in front of him and a Pittsburgh Steelers baseball cap pulled tight on his head. He won the Joe Moore Award, given annually to the top offensive lineman in the country, in the process. The 23-year-old Fautanu joins an offense that hit the ...

With the NFL Draft beginning tonight in Detroit, the Steelers technically don’t have a starting center on their roster. That’s why the team should be thinking in that direction when they select their first pick at No. 20 — barring a trade. In free agency, the Steelers reshuffled their quarterback room (Russell Wilson, Justin Fields and Kyle Allen), signed an inside linebacker (Patrick Queen), defensive lineman (Dean ...
