PITTSBURGH — Jonnu Smith’s time in Pittsburgh is apparently over. ESPN reported late Wednesday night that the Steelers will release the veteran tight end when the new league year begins next week. According to ESPN, cutting ties with Smith, 30, will save Pittsburgh $7 million in cap space.
