Longtime Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert will be joining the Colorado State football program.
ESPN's Pete Thamel first reported Colbert would join Colorado State as a consultant. Sources close to the program confirmed to the Fort Collins Coloradoan that Colbert will be joining the Rams.
The school has yet to officially announce the addition of Colbert.
He was the GM for the Steelers from 2000-2021, helping the franchise win two Super Bowls.
Thamel's report stated Colbert will be part of helping coach Jay Norvell and the player personnel department in building systems for a football front office.
