From Mirror, wire reports PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Pirates announced the hiring of Max Kwan as its new vice president of international scouting on Wednesday. Kwan is in his second stint as a member of the Pirates after originally being hired by Pittsburgh in 2014 as an area supervisor. The 33-year-old Mayza has posted a career record of 20-9 with four saves, a 3.88 ERA and 304 strikeouts in 367 appearances with Toronto (2017-24) and the New York Yankees (2024). Mayza went a combined 0-2 with a 6.33 ERA in 50 appearances last season between Toronto and the New York Yankees. The Associated Press PITTSBURGH — Adam Frazier is heading back to the Pittsburgh Pirates. The club has agreed to terms with the veteran second baseman/outfielder on a one-year deal worth $1,525,000.
