Bucs move up start times
PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Pirates announced on Thursday that their 2024 home game times will shift to an earlier start for evening games this season.
Evening games will now begin at 6:40 p.m. The Pirates open the home portion of the 2024 season on Friday, April 5, against the Baltimore Orioles.
Prior to the All-Star break, first pitch for Saturday home games will be at 4:05 p.m. After the break, starting times for all Saturday home games will be at 6:40 p.m., except for the Seattle Mariners game on Aug. 17 which will begin at 1:05 p.m.
Additionally, the home schedule will feature 12 mid-week day games at 12:35 p.m. Sunday home games are slated to begin at 1:35 p.m.
