NASCAR will alter its schedule this weekend

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — NASCAR has adjusted the schedule for this weekend’s exhibition race at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem in anticipation of more ice and snow blanketing the Winston-Salem area of North Carolina. SAN DIEGO — Patrick Reed is leaving LIV Golf with an eye on returning to the PGA Tour. Reed is the second major champion to leave LIV. He posted his intentions Wednesday on social media. Steelers reportedly close to hiring defensive coordinator

PITTSBURGH — According to several media outlets, including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers are close to signing Patrick Graham as their defensive coordinator. Graham, 47, would be the first major hire to new coach Mike McCarthy’s staff. Graham was the defensive coordinator the past three seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, and he also served in that role with the Miami Dolphins in 2019 and New York Giants in 2020 and 2021.
