For the first time the 2026 PA State Alpine Ski Championships will feature three local racers.

Hollidaysburg Area Junior High student Ella McKnight (14) secured her spot for a fifth straight year where she will defend her 2025 State Giant Slalom title.

Both Joe Stuckey (12) and Will Stuckey (14) of Bishop Guilfoyle Academy also secured positions for the first time.

The Stuckey brothers ski for the Blue Knob Ski Team and McKnight for the Western PA Race Team at Seven Springs.

They are among 13 teams from across the state competing in regular season qualifying races.

McKnight and Will Stuckey will race in the championship series at Blue Mountain, Feb. 27-March 1 across three disciplines: Super G, Giant Slalom and Slalom.

Joe Stuckey will race in the U12 age group Feb. 21-22 at Ski Roundtop in Giant Slalom and Slalom.
