Two PSU RBs on watch list

UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State senior football player Carson Hansen and junior teammate James Peoples were tabbed to the Doak Walker Award watch list on Tuesday. Hansen, a transfer from Iowa State, has rushed for 1,771 yards and 19 touchdowns in his career to go with 43 catches for 337 yards and two scores. People, a transfer from Ohio State, rushed for 344 yards on 61 carries and three touchdowns a year. The Doak Walker Award, presented by the PwC SMU Athletic Forum, is annually given to the nation’s most outstanding college running back.
