They began to show up in this area at the end of May, and within the past couple weeks, their pronounced clicking, rattling sound has been heard by just about anybody who has ventured outside. PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota wildlife managers imposed a statewide ban on the movement of farmed white-tailed deer starting in June through the end of July as they try to control an outbreak of chronic wasting disease that threatens the state’s wild deer population.
