Jayden Savino (left) and Kolbe Fletcher of Tyrone competed in a High School PA BASS Nation event on Cayuga Lake in New York on June 21.

They had 19.81 lb. limit of five largemouth bass anchored by a 5.92-pound lunker. This was both boys’ first event fishing against high school teams. They bested 15 high school teams in the event.

They each won a Bass Pro Gift card, bait casting rod, and a package of assorted lures. The win qualified them for the 2026 state championship at a location yet to be announced. They competed last year in the junior division and qualified for the national championship being held on Kentucky Lake later this year in July.
