Fans can register for NFL Draft in April
NEW YORK — The National Football League announced on Wednesday that fans can now register for free entry to the 2026 NFL Draft, taking place April 23-25, in Pittsburgh at the home of the Steelers.
The NFL will turn Pittsburgh’s North Shore and Point State Park into a three-day celebration of football, community and culture in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh.
“The NFL Draft is a massive annual celebration of football and community, and Pittsburgh provides a spectacular stage to welcome residents and fans from all over the world,” said Peter O’Reilly, executive vice president of club business, international and league events. “By connecting iconic locations in the heart of the city, we’re creating an accessible, free experience that reflects Pittsburgh’s creativity, imagination and grit, and invites all fans to be there live as the next generation of the NFL takes the stage.”
Fans planning to attend the free event should download the NFL One Pass app available via NFL.com/DraftAccess. NFL One Pass is the must-have tool for navigating draft weekend and provides real-time updates, a full schedule of interactive activities, Know-Before-You-Go information, and access to exclusive digital content and prizes including a grand prize trip for two to Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles.
Fans will be permitted on the campus starting at noon on Thursday and Friday, while it will open on Saturday at 9 a.m. Round 1 is Thursday while rounds 2 and 3 will take place on Friday. The Saturday draft is for rounds 4-7.
The draft theater and main stage will be located just outside Acrisure Stadium where all 32 club selections will be made. Fans in attendance will be positioned in the heart of one of the country’s most recognizable sports districts and steps away from the action as prospects hear their names called and dreams become a reality.
The Roberto Clemente Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic and serve as a pedestrian-only fan corridor linking the North Shore and downtown, while the Gateway Clipper fleet of riverboats will provide transportation between draft locations.
The NFL Draft Experience, the league’s interactive football theme park, will be located at both the North Shore draft campus, including inside Acrisure Stadium, and Point State Park. Fans can also enjoy the free NFL Draft Entertainment Series featuring live musical performances. The concerts are free and open to fans on a first-come, first-served basis.
