Hollidaysburg gets a pair of winners in Altoona Middle School Championships

Hollidaysburg had a pair of champions at the Altoona Middle School Championships held Saturday at Mansion Park. Mason Kephart won the 3200-meter run with a time of 10:24.93, and Layla Budny claimed the shot put title with a throw of 36 feet, 2.75 inches. Two other local boys won championships. Central Cambria’s Roman Forcellini sprinted to the 100 dash championship in 12.06 seconds, and Spring Cove’s Brayden Bartley won the 400 dash in 53.98 seconds.
