Penn State Altoona sophomore Kira Trexler was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer Monday.
Trexler, a Central graduate, finished last week with three goals and one assist for seven points.
Against non-conference opponent Bethany, the sophomore forward scored one goal and provided one assist as the Lions won 3-0. In the Lions' conference opener against Hilbert, Trexler scored both goals as the Lions won 2-0.
Elsewhere on campus, Penn State Altoona women's volleyball's junior outside/right side hitter Hannah Swank was named the AMCC Offensive Player of the Week.
Swank helped propel Penn State Altoona to a 2-0 week of AMCC play, as the Lions beat Penn State Behrend and Hilbert College.

- For the fourth time this season, Pitt senior right side Olivia Babcock was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week Monday. The nation's leader in kills and points, Babcock led Pitt to a pair of road sweeps at Boston College and at Syracuse.
Babcock had 33 kills and hit .429 across the two weekend matches. With an ace at Syracuse, she tied Pitt's career program record with 175. She added eight digs and four blocks.
