ALEXANDRIA -- Juniata Valley improved to 6-1 on the season with a 25-14, 25-12, 25-15 victory at home against Curwensville Thursday night in girls high school volleyball action.
Shealynn Bishop had 13 service points and six assists to lead the Lady Hornets. Ava Wise put down five kills, had four service points and three blocks, while Ava Sager recorded seven service points.

HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Hollidaysburg remained perfect at 7-0, thanks to a 25-8, 28-26, 25-17 win over Bellefonte.
Mackenzie McLanahan led the Lady Tigers with 18 service points, while Kynlee Budney and Taryn Leighty each added seven service points.

Callie Miller and Chloe White both had seven service points apiece to lead the Lady Panthers. Miller had 19 assists, while Ava Sipes knocked down eight kills, and recorded 10 digs and a block. Grace Dainty added 11 digs, while Anberly Detterline had 10 digs and a block.
Northern Bedford dipped to 5-3.

The Lady Eagles got 15 assists and four aces from Amaya Martin to go with 10 kills and 10 digs from Jocelyn Ciampoli. Teammate Addalee Marshall contributed 11 digs.

MOUNT UNION -- Claysburg-Kimmel dropped the first set, 25-23, but rallied back to take the next three, 25-11, 25-18, 25-17, over Mount Union.
Grayce Douglas had 20 service points to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Lauren Imler added 17 service points and 38 assists, and Reahanna Wood put down a dozen kills.
Claysburg bumped up to 5-1 on the year.

HOUTZDALE -- Williamsburg picked up its second win of the season with a 25-20, 25-21, 25-20 win on the road at Moshannon Valley.
Rylee Walters had 11 service points to lead the Lady Pirates, while Raina Alexander registered 10 points and five kills. Addison Johnson had 17 assists.
