Marasco’s four goals help BG win again

Emma Marasco notched four goals and an assist in Bishop Guilfoyle's 8-0 shutout win over Penn Cambria in girls high school action Thursday at Tom Irwin Field.

Meggie Ritchey also posted a hat trick, while Keira Ronan scored a goal. Makenna Miller recorded two assists, while Gabby Earnest, Mary Haigh, and Ritchey all had an assist each.

MARTINSBURG -- Central broke a 1-1 tie at halftime and scored three goals in the second half to take a 4-1 win over Richland.

Jacob Heuston scored a pair of goals in the second half -- one on a penalty kick -- to lead the Dragons. William Kirby and Ben McIntier both had a goal each.

Landon Corle and Carter Bookhammer posted an assist each for Central, which improved to 2-2-2.

Tigers survive

HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Hollidaysburg's Alex Arbogast scored a goal with under two minutes remaining to help the Tigers to a come-from-behind 4-3 win over Johnstown.

Arbogast and Henry Seelye both had goals off penalty kicks in the first half. Levi Lytle tied it at 3 with a goal in the second half. Devin Walters assisted on both goals in the second half.
