LEECHBURG -- The Altoona girls tennis team improved to 4-0 on Monday, thanks to a 4-1 win at Kiski Area in high school action.
The Lady Lions got singles wins from Skylar Irwin and Adalia Lopez-Oakes. Doubles victories were earned by Emma Hovan and Natalie Baker, along with Erika Irwin and Mariah Harris.

Hollidaysburg wins
TYRONE -- Crosby Denis, Grace Muriceak and Katherine Wang swept the singles competition as Hollidaysburg cruised to a win over Tyrone, 5-0, in tennis.
The team of Jillian Buffone and Brooklyn Klingner won at No. 1 doubles, and Rina Stiffler and Selina Dong won for the Lady Tigers at No. 2 doubles.

BOYS GOLF
Bulldogs falter
NORTHERN CAMBRIA -- Nathan Cox led Claysburg-Kimmel with a 47, but the Bulldogs fell to Northern Cambria, 165-209, in boys high school golf.
PJ Lewis added a 48 for the Bulldogs. Luke Blickender and Anthony Mountain had matching scores of 40 to lead Northern Cambria.
NORTHERN CAMBRIA (165): Blickender 40, Mountain 40, Maseto 41, Druwin 44.
