Artie Fink Jr., Todd Homan win Sinking Valley Country Club Senior Best Ball Tournament

TYRONE -- The team of Artie Fink Jr. and Todd Homan won the 2026 Senior Best Ball tournament at Sinking Valley Country Club with a two-round score of 19-under par 125.

Steve Havas and Joe Zdrojewski were second at 14-under par in the 50-59 flight.

Terry Burd and Keith Saleme, who shot a 10-under 134, won the net championship in that flight.

Ron Hinish and Bill Allen edged Greg Ferguson and Leonard DelBaggio by one stroke, 130-131, to win the 60-69 flight. Scott Murdick and Bill Stamm were third at 135.

Jim Osborn and Ken Gallagher won the net title with a 128.

David DeGol and Brady Eckenrode tied Rick Everett and Randall Jessell at 4-under par 140 in the 70+ flight. Everett and Jessell were the net champions.

The team of Toby Hunter, Doni Flick, John Taylor and Brady Naylor finished first in the Sinking Valley Labor Day Scramble on Monday with a gross score of 61. Box Tuskovich, Jordan Berry, Korry Cowher and Beans Mingle also shot a 61

HOLLIDAYSBURG -- The team of Joe DeGennaro, Gary Zimmerman and Dave McCoy shot a 31 to win the Butch Focht Tournament in the three-man division held at the Sylvan Hills Golf Club.

In the four-man division, the team of John Roland, Bill Blanset, Gary Zimmerman and Dave McCoy won with a 30.

In ladies action, the winner of the Ladies Golf Association Scramble was the team of Cathy Knisely, Doe Bolger, Mary Ann Downing and Sandy Murphy with a 37.

Second-place honors went to the team of Dayonne Beck, Carol Young, Rosey McCoy and Maddie Shea with a 38. Finishing third, also with a 38, was the team of Cathy Beam, Connie Angeski and Ruth Lucey.
