TYRONE -- The team of Andrew Ferguson and Sam Ayers shot 68 and won first place gross in the Sinking Valley Country Club's Member-Guest event, one stroke better than the runners-up, Artie Fink Jr. and Mitch Johns.
Greg Ferguson and Troy Benson were in a tie with Corey Barr and Connor Garrity for third after shooting 70.
Nathan Burkett, Greg Ferguson Jr., Ryan Claar, Ed Wojcik and Roger Lannan won closest to the pin prizes, and Todd Johnson made the longest putt.
Burkett and Derek Seager won first place in the net. Corey Henderson and Taylor Hayes-Lead were second, and there was a tie for third between the team of Dan Morgan and Nate Beerbower and John Jackson and John Hazenstab.
Summit
CRSSON -- Bucky Smith, George Gonzalez and Dave and Logan Bicko won a four-man scramble with a team score of 54 in the GAP/FCU Charity Outing.
The first-place women's team was Sue Mrosky, Lori Dirinaldo, Becky McLaughlin and Linda Stewart, which carded a 68.
Taylor Vranich, Joshua Vranich and Alex Cruley won skill prizes.
In other action, the team of Todd McConnell, Jeramie McConnell, Jim Nadolsky and Mark Nycum won the Stevens Memorial Cambria Alliance Classic with a 56.
Placing second was the team of Rob Capelli, Keith Frank and Sam Marino (57). Third-place honors were won by the team of Bernie Fontanella, Al Simanski, Ken Simanski and Doc Burgoon.
Jerry Neugebauer, McConnell, Nadolsky and Eger won skill prizes.
PSU Altoona
The Penn State Altoona women's golf team settled for 13th place at Allegheny College's Kuhn Memorial Invitational.
The Lady Lions finished the tournament with an 814 out of the 13 teams in competition.
Alexis Peacock, a Hollidaysburg graduate, tied for 55th place by shooting a 196. Alyssa Franks, a Bishop Guilfoyle graduate, finished tied for 67th place with a 242.
On the men's side, Penn State Altoona finished third at the tournament.

Nicholas Helsley, a Bishop Guilfoyle graduate, finished tied for 17th place with a 150 after shooting an even par 72.
