Central girls soccer prevails on senior night

ROARING SPRING -- Central scored three first-half goals and downed Cambria Heights, 4-1, on its senior night in high school girls soccer on Monday.
Junior Rylie Oldham scored on a pass from senior Sophia Keith, sophomore Camryn Parilla made it 2-0 off an assist from Mya Long, and senior Addison Long made it 3-0 on a crossing feed from sophomore Marah Diehl.
Senior Julia Bowser assisted freshman Sophia Flamish on the Lady Dragons' final goal. Mele Lavelua scored for Heights.

Lady Lions roar
Altoona handed Bedford its first loss of the season, defeating the Lady Bisons 2-1 at Mansion Park.
Altoona got goals from Ajaycia Alexander and Ava Frye, both in the first half. Bedford (5-1-1) got its lone goal from Halle Thomas, also in the first half.
Altoona improved to 4-5-1.
Altoona also won the JV game, 6-0.
Lady Devils lose
DAVIDSVILLE -- Central Cambria fell to Conemaugh Township, 4-2.
Mayce Kordell had two goals and an assist for Township. Kaydence Sinclair scored both of Central Cambria's goals.
