KIRKLAND, Wash. -- The West Suburban 14U softball team defeated Guayama, Puerto Rico, representing Latin America, 14-2, in five innings in a consolation game of the Little League Juniors Softball World Series on Friday.
Both teams had been eliminated from the championship bracket on Thursday.
Olivia O'Roark led West Suburban with two hits and three RBIs, Adalyn Hines drove in three, Cameron Mash and Abigail Claar each had two hits and two RBIs, and Jerzy Bopp and Reagan Bills each added two hits.
