VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The PA Tigers 18U Navy travel softball team won the Silver Bracket championship in Travel Softball's Premier World Series Tournament recently.
Over four days of competition, the Tigers posted a 4-2 record while facing teams from Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Texas.
The Tigers advanced through bracket play to reach the Silver Bracket championship, where they defeated The Tribe 18U of Austin, Texas, 2-1, to capture the championship.
The tournament marked the conclusion of the team's four-year journey together in travel softball and concluded the players' travel ball careers. During that span, the Tigers compiled an overall record of 101-54-4.
