Amber Gail Miller (second from left) was promoted to second degree black belt by the Jin Pal Hapkido Martial Arts Federation. The exam was conducted in Rockville, Md., on Aug. 15. The test required Miller to perform break falls, patterns, self defense techniques, specialty kicks and board breaking.
